After having spent four years on the company’s board, Ken Denman has been appointed as Openwave’s CEO. He succeeds interim CEO Bruce Coleman and will continue to serve on the board. Until recently, Denman was chairman and CEO of iPass, where he led three acquisitions — including GoRemote, Mobile Automation and Safe3w. Earlier in his career he served as SVP at MediaOne’s National Markets Group and also as COO of the company’s International Wireless Group.
