Industry Moves: Former LinkedIn Co-Founder Konstantin Guericke Steps Down From Jaxtr

Jaxtr CEO and co-founder of LinkedIn Konstantin Guericke is stepping down as CEO from Jaxtr, the company that provides low rates for international calling from landlines or mobile phones. Bahman Koohestani, the company’s VP of engineering will become the interim CEO. In the company’s blog, Koohestani wrote on Friday that “after four years of LinkedIn and almost two years of Jaxtr (with not even a day off in between), Konstantin is stepping down as the CEO of Jaxtr to spend more time with his wife and two young daughters.” Konstantin will remain chairman of the company.

Recently, the company started offering premium services to add a revenue stream to its mix, but still, Jaxtr, like many others, decided to trim expenses several weeks ago by laying off 13 employees.
