HP is rolling out two new iPAQs in Europe, one with a touch screen and the other not. The DataManager has a sliding QWERTY keyboard and looks pretty nice, although the specs are nothing special. HP put a 2.8-inch screen on the touch device but it is only displaying at QVGAl. The phone has full connectivity options for GSM networks, WiFi, Bluetooth, the lot. The hardware is pretty standard and the interesting thing is the bundling of Opera Mobile with the DataManager.
The VoiceMessenger is a candybar form phone with typical specs including a 2.4-inch screen, also QVGA. Both phones use an optical sensor disk in place of the standard D-pad navigation controls.
