Firefox 3.1 is in beta and preliminary reports say it’s really fast and cool. It is a very early beta however so you want to be careful if you test it as not everything is going to work. When you install the beta it wipes out your previous stable version and you should be aware that your extensions may not work, in fact many probably will not work. Those folks at portableapps.com have released the portable edition already which is designed to be installed in a folder or on a USB drive for portable usage. This is actually a very nice way to test the new 3.1 beta without wiping out your existing install so give it a go.
