We’re very pleased to introduce two journalists joining the ContentNext Media ranks in the next two weeks, and sad to see one of us go:

He studied history at Leeds University, where he also began his journalistic career on the Leeds Student newspaper, and has a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Leeds Trinity and All Saints College. He lives in Hackney, East London, and is an avid follower of Sheffield Wednesday FC. His first day is Oct. 8. He can be reached at patrick AT

imageTameka Kee, West Coast Correspondent: Tameka has been covering the online advertising and marketing industry with a special focus on search, social media and gaming for the past two years. Prior to joining us, she served as a reporter for Mediapost’s Online Media Daily. Her related experience includes research assistant with Mediaedge:cia’s Strategic Insights division. Tameka is a graduate of the Queens College Media Studies program, an interdisciplinary study of on- and offline media, including media criticism and cultural theory. She will be based in our Santa Monica office effective Oct. 13. She can be reached at tameka AT

At the same time, we say a fond farewell to our NYC financial reporter Joseph Weisenthal, who has been with us the past year…he is joining Clusterstock, part of Silicon Alley Media, to go back to his original love of writing about stocks. We’re sorry to see him go and wish him luck.

We’re still hiring. We have job openings for journalists of varying experience levels in New York, Silicon Valley and India. Please send resumes to Rafat Ali, rali AT
