Okay, yesterday was kind of a false alarm… the last edition of the New York Sun hit newsstands today. Editor Seth Lipsky has a letter to readers confirming the news. There’s also an interactive slideshow called “Seven Years of the Sun”. An employee of the paper told us last night that negotiations for financing were going on until early afternoon yesterday. But if things weren’t already dire enough, yesterday was probably the worst day to be throwing more at the paper, said to be losing at least $1 million per month. The employee also guessed that the paper might’ve produced this last edition, just to thumb its nose at all the reports saying it died on Monday.
