– Buy iPhones at home and pick them up at the store: Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) launched a new way for people to buy iPhones yesterday, by letting people signup and register online, and then drive to a nearly Apple retail store to pick up the phone. Once at the store, a person will help you set up the phone, so you know how to make calls, browse the Web, receive email and more. Sounds a bit like Sprint’s (NYSE: S) new program that gives people more personal attention in the store.
