TheAppleBlog points to an amazing statistic being thrown around by the Associated Press regarding their Mobile News channel. They had a very healthy 16 million page views in August but that’s not the amazing part. It seems that 95% of those 16 million page views all came from iPhone/ iPod Touch owners using Mobile Safari and the AP Mobile News Network app from the Apple Store. The AP Mobile News channel can be reached via the web normally but most are using the iPhone/ iPod Touch which shows the power of getting an application in the App Store. It is the 2nd most popular news reader in the App Store currently. You Blackberry owners should be happy to hear that there is a version for you coming.
