I just touched down in New York, where we’re hosting the second annual local edition of our NewTeeVee Pier Screening series on Tuesday night. If you haven’t gotten your free ticket already, make sure to hit up the RSVP now — we are expecting hundreds of people to turn out.
The theme for this week is viral video ads, and we’re collaborating with Visible Measures to get all sorts of interesting data about how our chosen screeners have already done in their attempts to go viral. We’ll also be ushered through the evening by our lovely judges, Ian Schafer, the CEO and founder of Deep Focus; Kate Cohen, the creative director of TBWA; and Ben Relles, the founder of BarelyPolitical.com, home of Obama Girl.
Special thanks go to the New York Video 2.0 group for co-hosting the event and bringing out their excellent crowd. Thanks as always to our sponsors, ON2 Technologies, G-Technology, Volomedia, Move Networks and DF Splash — and our great partners Threadless, Eventbrite and Mozes.
