ChaCha hits one million: Mobile SMS search service ChaCha has signed up more than one million users, and has answered some 27 million queries since its January launch, according to the company. According to Nielsen Mobile, ChaCha is the fastest growing SMS search service, and had a seven percent share of the US mobile search market in Q2, tying it with Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO). It's amazing that a start up company like ChaCha can offer a service like that without having to charge for it. It really indicates an innovative model that will continue to grow and could eventually dominate mobile search. Maybe now giants like google will have to start making stuff that works instead of flooding the market with junk.
