Daft Media, the owner of Irish property website Daft.ie has taken a minority stake in local community discussion site Boards.ie, for an undisclosed amount, reports SiliconRepublic. Boards.ie was founded 10 years ago, and has discussion boards on everything from cars, property, music and movies….it says it now has a monthly audience of one million unique visitors. Last year Boards.ie acquired the Boards Group, an international chain of domains, and now runs Boards.us, a site for discussing all things related to the US; Boards.jp, a Japanese animation fan site; and smaller discussion sites for New Zealand and China. More details in release.
