What’s so good about an unlimited text messaging plan if you don’t have a device that can handle your bionic thumbs? MetroPCS thinks that such a plan would benefit from… no, demands… a handset made for texting. Maybe that’s why they’ve added the Samsung SCH-r450, aka: the Samsung Messenger, to their lineup.
Although MetroPCS coverage is limited, folks in these areas might want to pair up the Messenger with a $40 all-can-say-and-text-plan. The Messenger isn’t all keyboard: it offers a 1.3 megapixel shooter, stereo Bluetooth support, and micro-SD support. The keyboard looks pretty good for a feature-phone, but it’ll cost you: $199 is the price on the Metro PCS website.
