Geodesic Information Systems, the Mumbai-based developer of mobile communication tools (such as Mundu IM), has reported its quarterly earnings for the quarter ending June 30th, and its net profits for the quarter doubled to Rs. 584.49 million ($ 13.61 million) as compared to the year-ago quarter. Its revenues came in at Rs.1296.53 million (US$ 30.19 million), an increase of 116 percent as compared to the quarter ended June 30, 2007. Meanwhile, the company has also signed a licensing deal with Germany based consumer electronics maker Medion through which Mundu IM software will be pre-installed on Medion’s upcoming mobile communications device.
