Deutsche Telekom (NYSE: DT) is investing two million euros in Swoodoo, a German flights search and booking site, via its T-Online Ventures arm, and aims to integrate it with some of its own web properties. The two-year-old Munich-based site will use the funds for development, marketing and internationalisation, and plans a second round investment this year. Deutsche Telekom said there is “further cooperation” planned between Swoodoo and “several subsidiaries”, including TravelScout24, a holiday portal run under its Scout24 vertical shopping network. Release.
