LimeLight, the deeply troubled content delivery network, said its CFO Matthew Hale will be leaving at the end of the year. The company has begun the search for a replacement. The brief statement, released at 4:30 this morning, offered no reason for the departure, though it’s worth noting that the young company has had some accounting issues, including a restatement, during its short time as a public company. In addition to business struggles, analysts have knocked the company’s financial reporting for being impenetrable, not offering enough insight into the company’s operations. In a filing, the company said Hale will receive his $275,000 annual salary for a year following his departure. Release.
