As IAC (NSDQ: IACI) attempts to buildup Ask.com, it’s made a point of de-emphasizing syndicated search in favor of higher-yield organic search. Doug Anmuth touched on that in the report we discussed this morning. But it’s not going to stop doing these deals. The company announced that it’s now powering the search FIM-owned PhotoBucket. It’s a multi-year deal that will expose the Ask to 44 million monthly visitors. The deal also includes display advertising and sponsored search listings. Interesting to note: PhotoBucket isn’t going with Google (NSDQ: GOOG), which has had a somewhat tense time powering the search for FIM (NYSE: NWS) stablemate MySpace.
