OwnerIQ, a portal of owner manuals and product help forums, has raised a $6 million second round led by Egan-Managed Capital. Participants in its $2 million first round, Atlas Ventures, CommonAngels and the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation, also participated. The Boston-based company pitches the notion of owner targeting, the idea of marketing to users based on what products they own, to advertisers. The company hopes to fill a void opened by companies investing less in product and customer support. Release.
