Matt Miller took his first close-up look at Nokia’s N78 and I think this phone is going to surprise many folks with its feature set. There’s a few "firsts" involved as the N78 offers an FM transmitter to allow for audio streaming to your car or home stereo and it also has the new S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2. You’re also got integrated WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS, not to mention the 3.2-megapixel camera with typically outstanding Carl Zeiss optics. Matt’s device is a European model, so there’s no local 3G support for him, but Nokia does plan to release a U.S. model.
From the sounds of it, this handset will be a little more affordable than the higher end N90-series, yet it seems to offer most of the power its bretheren. Check out Matt’s impressions plus his video look. Then stay tuned for more conversation because we chat this one up on the next podcast. You’ll want to hear about the unique keypad. Looks like I need to be mixing me some MP3 audio tracks while you check Matt’s post!
