If you’ve got a Macbook and a Blackberry you can rejoice today with word that iMobimac is now available. Nothing could be more liberating than the ability to use your Blackberry’s 3G connectivity with your Macbook when needed. iMobimac consists of two programs, one for the Mac and the other for the Blackberry. Together they cause the Mac to use a special proxy server that will cause any attempt to go to the web to either use the Mac’s network connection or the Blackberry if not connected otherwise. The program is pretty expensive at $70 but there is a trial version available and if you download the trial prior to June 11th then you can upgrade to the full version for $50. The proxy setup looks a bit complicated but if you authorize remote access the iMobimac technicians will log into your Mac and set everything up for you. Let the roaming begin.
