Updated: Reed Business U.S. Cutting 41 Jobs; Includes Variety As Well

Not a big cut in the scheme of things, but since Reed Business is in the middle of a sale process: the company eliminated 41 jobs yesterday, reports Folio, citing an internal letter. The books affected include Broadcasting & Cable, Publishers Weekly and Variety.com, and cuts included several editors, sales representatives and online staffers. More layoffs may be possible in the near future.

Update: Correction: This memo from Tad is not new…this was the one he sent out when the original sale announcement was made.
