There are all kinds of social filtering services for media. Here’s one for software. Wakoopa, a site that lets users find and share their favorite apps with peers, has raised $1 million (EUR 640,000) from Big Bang Ventures and HENQ, according to TechCrunch. The Amsterdam-based company was launched last year and claims 30,000 users. In addition to simply filtering what apps its members use, it also detailed usage statistics on how they’re used. In a blog post, the company says the funds will be used to expand and improve the service.
