Crownpeak, an LA-based provider of hosted content management systems, has raised $6 million from SunAmerica Ventures, and past backers Sigma Partners and Altos Ventures, reports socalTech. The company previously raised $4.25 million in 2006, bringing its total to $10.25 million. Crownpeak, which targets online marketers, touts the fact that it can be used without any technical knowledge. In a similar space and with a similar proposition is Clickability, which raised $8 million earlier this year.
