Breeze Tech, the incongruously-named Bluetooth marketing firm based in London, UK, has received about $1.6 million (£807,000) in funding commitments from private equity firm Beringea. Breeze was founded in 2003, and provides Bluetooth-based marketing and content solutions for brands…content can range from ringtones and movie trailers to city travel guides. The company has deals with out of home media owners (who help distribute and promote these campaigns) such as CBS (NYSE: CBS) Outdoor, Titan Outdoor, and JC Decaux, and has done campaigns for clients such as 3 Mobile, Sky, Universal, Nokia (NYSE: NOK), Fiat and Nike.
