Less than a month after David Verklin announced plans to leave his post as CEO of Aegis Media Americas, now comes word that Mainardo de Nardis is out as Aegis Media’s global CEO. He has been replaced by Jerry Buhlmann, who moves over from CEO of Aegis Media EMEA, a post he has held since 2003. Before that, starting in 2000, 2000 to 2003 Buhlmann served as CEO of Aegis’ Carat International. In 1989, he founded UK media agency BBJ, which was acquired by Aegis ten years later. Release.

He hasn’t revealed the circumstances under which he’s departing Aegis, though the company said he will not be able to sign on with another media shop until “the usual 12-month contact conditions” expire.
