Rumors of a 3G iPhone coming out in June have been around for a while…now Fortune makes the unsubstantiated report that AT&T (NYSE: T) plans to subsidize the device to the tune of $200, bringing the price down to $199 for people in two-year contracts. If this happens it indicates that AT&T thinks iPhone users have an ARPU sufficiently high enough to subsidize the handset whilst paying a share of the revenue to Apple.
