Magazine publisher Hachette Filipacchi, which bought TV and broadband news and community site DigitalSpy this month, promises concerned forum users it won’t change the site following the acquisition, says new acting digital head Anna Jones: “We don’t want to suddenly go in and wreck something which is hugely popular. We won’t. It’s fantastic; we want to carry on with that.” But Hachette will be bringing the site’s advertising sales ops in-house, from using an outsourced agency.
