AideRSS, the folks behind the PostRank system for identifying interesting items in RSS feeds, have partnered with NewsGator to add PostRank information to NewsGator Online. This follows on the heels of their Firefox extension for adding PostRank data to Google Reader (an integration that was recently improved, by the way). NewsGator Online users can now see a little graph of PostRank in every item, and choose to sort their feed items by PostRank rather than date or activity.
NewsGator, of course, has been working to extend its understanding and analysis of feed-reading, most recently by giving away its client applications. With NewsGator’s main enterprise products depending on the understanding of attention data, AideRSS is a natural fit. For users who don’t happen to use Firefox, this offers the easiest way yet to see the PostRank data.
