Buongiorno (BIT: BNG) is getting set to roll out Blinko Gold, its premium digital store in India this month. Blinko Gold will allow consumers to download mobile entertainment content. The release also states that the CRM will “analyse service provisions and track end-user behaviour”, and I wonder if there’s mobile advertising involved somewhere. Last month, Buongiorno has announced plans to launch Fashion Fix, a mobile video magazine in India. The company has over 75 employees in India, and operates out of New Delhi.
Blinko has been at the center of some controversy in the US: the company was sued in November last year, by the Florida Attorney General, for deceptive marketing practices…the company was, allegedly, targeting children with ads on websites offering free ringtones and hiding the
