If you want most of the Nokia N95s horsepower in a dark-chocolate candybar form factor, Nokia has your number. 82 to be exact. The N82 was officially announced today and should be shipping within weeks for around 400 Euros. Like the N95, the N82 has a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, WiFi, and HSDPA, and Assisted-GPS, all for around 100 Euros less. You’ll gain a Xenon flash but lose the 8 GB of internal storage the latest N95 offers, however the N82 does support up to an 8 GB microSD card. You’ll also lose a little in the screen size: 2.4-inches vs. the 2.8-incher on the N95, but at 320 x 240 res, that’s probably not a deal-breaker. Any bets on how long before a U.S. 3G version becomes available?
