Video Game Screencaster WeGame Raises $3 Million Second Round

Billed as the “YouTube of game shows,” San Francisco’s WeGame has raised $3 million in a second round, TechCrunch reported. The company is headed by a 19-year-old University of California, Berkeley-dropout named Jared Kim, who formed two other startups before this one. WeGame received a first round of $500K last year. Investors in both rounds weren’t disclosed. Aside from just letting users view and share screencasts of video games, it also lets users create their own content for the site. WeGame began beta testing its “media sharing platform” in January.
