Online video trivia gamer PopJax has raised $4.7 million funding from Shasta Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Selby Ventures, NewTeeVee reports. The year-old San Francisco company has hired a team of professional game show writers to come up with about 10,000 questions on topics related to the Academy Awards, Super Bowl commercials and celebrities. The company’s goal, of course: to be the “Trivial Pursuit for the internet age.” In the meantime, the company wants to be build a user base before adopting a particular revenue model. At the moment, PopJax is limited to Facebook and YouTube.
