SF-based Fluid Entertainment, a developer of interactive entertainment for kids, has raised a $3.2 million first round from Trinity Ventures. The company was first started in 1998, and has been making software games based on well-known brands, like Harry Potter and Pokemon. It’s new funding will help it pursue two hot areas: MMOs and “green”, with the goal of helping kids learn about the environment. Despite the company’s long history, it seems to have had a very minimal online presence until now. Release.
