More consolidation in central European portals. Number-two Czech web portal NetCentrum is buying Slovak counterpart Atlas.sk for 20 million euros (£15.3 million). Centrum itself sold a majority stake to private equity house Warburg Pincus in December. Atlas.sk, whose logo is already eerily similar, offers the usual mix of email, news, blogs and other services and claims 4.9 million unique monthly users. Its traffic has been rising steadily.
