I told you recently about the exciting MoGo Mouse and how it failed to live up to its reputation. I also mentioned that I ordered an HP-branded version of that mouse to see how it works and it arrived this afternoon. I just spent a couple of hours using it in the local coffee shop after charging and pairing it and it fit my needs wonderfully. The convenience of storing and charging this flat Bluetooth mouse in the PC Card slot cannot be overstated for me as it allows me to carry the Fujitsu P1620 in my tiny Waterfield Designs SleeveCase and still have a mouse with me when I need one. The mouse feels quite natural while using it which surprises me since it’s so flat but that’s a tribute to the design. The two buttons work very well and it pairs instantly when the kickstand is opened. If only it had a tiny scroll wheel or something, otherwise I am quite happy with this mouse. It was only $30 at Amazon too.
I should point out that the same folks who make the MoGo also make the HP version, in fact other than the color it looks the same as the MoGo. I heard from the CEO of the company that makes the MoGo after I reported about how the original unit was defective and to their credit they are sending a replacement for it shortly. I’ll try it and compare it to the HP I have now and report back on that. I don’t need two mice the same so maybe we can give one away to a lucky reader? Stay tuned.
