Mobile Content Backup Services Provider FusionOne Gets $6 Million

Mobile content backup services company FusionOne has raised $6 million in its first round of funding from El Dorado Ventures, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Ventures, and Vesbridge Partners. The ten-year old San Jose-based company first started out as a synchronization technology platform, but by 2004 had rolled out an automatic back-up services for mobile devices, according to Venture Beat. It now white labels the service for carriers, such as Verizon (NYSE: VZ), whose customers pay $2 a month to access Verizon Backup Assistant, as its known. The operator reports it is
