Tokyo-based Morpho, a developer of mobile imaging technology, has raised an unspecified investment from Nokia (NYSE: NOK) Growth Partners, Nokia’s VC arm. Established in 2004, the company has developed technology in the area of still and moving image stabilization. Other focus areas include image tracking, panorama stitching and backlight compensation. In addition to Nokia, Morpho shareholders include DoCoMo.com, NTT DoCoMo (NYSE: DCM), Panasonic, NEC and the University of Tokyo Edge Capital, as well certain individuals. Release.
