WPP Digital, the new media investment arm of the ad holding company, has acquired 75 percent of the issued capital of HeathWallace, a UK website design and development agency. Founded in 2001, HeathWallace is based in Reading with an office in Hong Kong. It has about 60 staffers and claimed to end 2007with £4.3 million ($8.4 million USD). Earlier this week, WPP Digital took an estimated $3 million stake in web-analytics company NuConomy, an Israeli startup with offices in San Francisco that is currently in beta. WPP Group’s other recent investments in the digital realm include Invidi, IMMI, VideoEgg, Visible Technologies and Spot Runner. Release
