DMGT’s regional news division saw a 90 percent increase in digital revenue during the final quarter of 2007. The Northcliffe unit, which runs 43 local news websites, reported total revenue up 0.6 percent on the corresponding 2006 period, according to interim results out this morning – but down 0.3 percent to £105 million when accounting for acquisitions. Strongest online gains came from recruitment advertising. Overall DMGT quarterly revenue was up two percent. Teletext “remained weak” but the DMG Information B2B division saw revenue up 18 percent to £74 million. Release.
