Palo Alto-based Mozes, which offers mobile-based promotions for bands, has acquired Hurricane Interactive Promotions, a mobile concert promoter. Nashville-based Hurricane is primarily tied to the country music market, and has ties to various country labels and artists. Hurricane CEO Chris Stacy was previously an SVP of Universal Music Group’s Mercury Nashville label. Mozes, which has raised over $5 million, says it sees the live concert business as a natural extension of its existing business. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. Release.
