[by Cerius Shah] Bay Talkitec, a Computer Telephony integrator, has raised $2.5 million from NEA-IndoUS ventures. Bay Talkitech, which claims over 2000 installations of back-end development and support, will use the funds to deploy integrated audio and video services in the VAS segment for Mobile operators in India and worldwide, starting with South East Asia. Their products include Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVRS), Voice Loggers, SMS Applications and Contact Center Solutions, among others. Bay had previously received funding of Rs 2 crore from IDBI back in November 2000. It lists Airtel, Reliance, DoT, BSNL and MTNL as clients. [via release]
