— Charles Anthony, MD of Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) has put in his papers. Mukund Rajan has been appointed MD in his place. More at Business Standard.
— INX has confirmed to Exchange4Media, the departure of Vir Sanghvi from NewX this morning. Indrani Mukerjea wished him well and added NewsX is on target for its launch. This, unfortunately, brings to an end the INX soap opera that has been played out in the media for a few weeks now. Sanghvi will be announcing a new news channel soon. Maybe it’s that Mint TV we keep hearing about.
— Chintamani Rao, CEO, India TV has quit the Rajat Sharma chaired channel. He is yet to announce his next move. Rao moved to IndiaTV from the media services division of McCann Erickson, Universal McCann, where he was President. Details at Television Point.
— Rajendra Mehta has left Times Internet as Vice-President, Human Resources to join telco infrastructure company, Vihaan Networks (VNL) as Director, HR. He will report to Anil Raj, CEO of VNL. Details at Exchange4Media.
— Maya Hari moved to MSN India as a consumer marketing head, from Google (NSDQ: GOOG) India. The INSEAD MBA grad will report to country manager, Jaspreet Bindra. More at Agencyfaqs.
