While I am in airport hell (very long and painful story: 11 hours at LAX waiting/rerouting/waiting-on-tarmac/more-rerouting for a 45 minute flight to Vegas for NATPE…all this, while I am sitting 25 minutes from home), our journalists David Kaplan and Joseph Weisenthal will be covering two major conferences in NYC, swapping duties among them:
— OnMedia NYC: David and Joseph will report AlwaysOn’s New York conference, which kicks off tonight and continues through the 30th, featuring a mix of CEOs, ad execs and VCs.
— SIIA Information Industry Summit: Both will also be providing coverage of the SIIA’s 7th annual conference in New York on Wednesday and Thursday as CEOs, analysts, bankers, publishers and others discuss the state of digital M&A and the new media business strategies. Speakers include Tom Glocer, Reuters’ (NSDQ: RTRSY) CEO; Gordon Crovitz, the former publisher of WSJ; David Eun, Google’s (NSDQ: GOOG) VP, Content Partnerships, and others.
