MySpace TV has added a channel for the BBC Worldwide, including a couple hundred clips in categories like comedy, drama, and “famous faces.”
Everything I scanned through was only a few minutes long (like the Big Cat Diary excerpt embedded above). Clips are great and all, but they’re not revolutionary these days. On the plus side, the BBC content is licensed for all 27 countries MySpace operates in, so it won’t be irritatingly constrained by borders like full-length offerings from Joost and Hulu.
Also, MySpace said MySpace TV general manager Jeff Berman was promoted to EVP of marketing and content.
