Since we just figured out how to add Tasks to the Google Calendar in Firefox, let’s switch it up and see how to add the Google Calendar to your browser sidebar. Cybernet turned me on to this bookmark trick that accomplishes the little productivity booster. You’ll end up with a small, monthly view of your calendar along with appointments & events listed below. Does it look at all like the Calendar from iGoogle? That’s because it is… slick! This same approach works for Opera as well; just show the bookmark in the panel.As an interesting aside: Firefox now accounts for 42.9% of the views here at last check. IE holds a narrow lead at 44.3%, with Safari and Opera at 7.3% and 1.3% respectively.
