Mansueto Ventures To Launch FastCompany.TV With Scoble As Managing Director

Mansueto Ventures becomes the latest business media company to hop on the broadband train. Mansueto and Fast Company bought a burst of attention and a continuing place in the spotlight by hiring evangelistic blogger Robert Scoble to, as he puts it, help build “a new, interactive, online video community called FastCompany.TV.” It’s scheduled to launch March 3. This means people in the technosphere and in Scoble’s far-flung, vast personal network will be hearing a lot more about Fast Company from here out than they probably have in the past two years. In fact, Scoble is moving Scobleizer.com to Mansueto Digital’s network of sites. But ScobleTV, his daily video show, is just part of it; FCTV plans several programs with other “well-known personalities.”

Scoble included Fast Company’s commitment to social networking and a new magazine on start-ups in the list of reasons for taking the job. The release is here. Beet.TV’s interview with Ed Sussman, president of Mansueto Digital, is here.
