Ad serving tech firm PubMatic has raised $7 million in a first round financing. The round was led by Nexus India Capital along with previous backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Helion Ventures, which participated in the company’s undisclosed seed round last August. Currently in beta, PubMatic is working with 1,500 publishers and a few dozen ad networks, including Google (NSDQ: GOOG) AdSense, Advertising.com and BlueLithium. The San Francisco company, which started its business last year and has two offices in India, is targeting small- to medium-sized publishers. PubMatic
