YouTube has named Chris Di Cesare head of marketing and programming, ClickZ reported. A YouTube rep told me that Di Cesare, who is defecting from Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) where he served as director of creative marketing, was recruited by Suzie Reider, YouTube’s chief marketing officer. Reider, who took the CMO role in the late summer of 2006, worked with Di Cesare at GameSpot a few years ago. Initially, her job responsibilities at YouTube combined aspects of sales and marketing.
