Ex-Sprint (NYSE: S) CEO Gary Forsee will reportedly be named the next president of the University of Missouri system, the uni where he got his degree in engineering. In terms of income it’s a come down for Forsee, reports STLToday, which spends a while pointing out his salary will be $400,000, along with a deferred bonus of $100,000 a year if he stays for three years…compared to $17 million a year at Sprint Nextel and a severance package estimated to be worth at least $54 million. Of course, I doubt he’s particularly worried about his financial future. He will replace Elson Floyd, who left to head up Washington State University. Forsee was replaced at Sprint by Dan Hesse.
