Blackberry maker Research in Motion (NSDQ: RIMM) reported revenue of $1.67 billion in its Q3, up 100 percent from last year’s $835 million. Net income more than doubled to $370.5 million from $175.2 million a year ago. The company says it shipped 3.9 million Blackberries in the quarter and that its subscriber base swelled to 12 million.
