Mediapeers, a German marketplace for audiovisual content, has taken an unspecified first round from T-Online Venture Fund, the VC arm of Deutsche Telekom, (NYSE: DT) reports TelcomPaper (sub req’d). The B2B operation helps buyers acquire content, while offering an avenue for creators to commercialize their offerings. DT’s investment serves a strategic purpose, as the site should help it acquire content across its units.
